Choose Installation Method
Two ways to get the bot running. Pick the one that fits your workflow.
What is Portable Installation?
Portable Installation creates an independent, self-contained MetaTrader 5 terminal on your computer — separate from your main MT5. The bot is automatically deployed into this isolated environment, connects to your trading account, and starts working immediately.
Think of it as a "dedicated workspace" for the bot: it doesn't interfere with your other terminals, doesn't share settings with them, and can be managed entirely from the FxRobotEasy Installer.
Why Use Portable Mode?
Zero manual configuration
No need to copy files, configure charts, or attach experts manually — the installer does everything.
Complete isolation
The portable terminal runs independently from your main MetaTrader 5 installation.
One-click deployment
Select your license, configure lot size and pairs, click Install — the bot is live in seconds.
Multi-bot support
Run multiple bots on different accounts simultaneously, each in its own portable terminal.
Easy management
Start, stop, edit parameters, and monitor all portable installations from a single dashboard.
No conflicts
Updates, plugins, or changes in your main MT5 won't affect the bot's dedicated terminal.
About MetaTrader 5 Updates
Portable installations are stable and well-tested. Updates are a minor consideration, not a frequent problem. Most users never encounter any issues.
Demo IB / Live IB
Quickest setup. Your broker server is pre-configured (NoDealingDesk-Server) — just enter your account credentials and install.
Enter Your Account Number
Open the FxRobotEasy Installer, find your product card, and select Demo IB or Live IB. Enter your trading account number.
Select Portable Install
On the next screen, choose Portable Install as the installation method.
Configure and Install
Enter your trader password, select currency pairs, configure lot sizing, and click Install.
Lot Size Configuration
Choose how the bot calculates trade size. Both modes are available in any portable installation.
Fixed Risk / Margin
Set Risk parameter (e.g., 1 = 1%). The bot calculates lot size automatically so a single stop-loss never exceeds the specified percentage of your balance.
Fixed Lot
Set Lot Size parameter (e.g., 0.01). Every trade uses exactly this lot size, regardless of account balance.
Done — The Bot Is Live
The installer creates a dedicated MT5, logs in, opens charts, and attaches the bot. No further action required.
Full Version (Any Broker)
With a Full Version license you can install into a portable MT5 configured for any broker. One extra step: creating a portable MT5 base from your broker's terminal.
Before you start
- Locally installed broker MT5 — The installer reads server configuration from this terminal.
- Previously logged into your account — The terminal must have cached your broker's server addresses.
- Terminal must be closed — Files cannot be read while MT5 is running.
Select Your License Key
Open the installer, find your product card, choose Full Version, and select the license key for this installation.
Select Portable Install
Choose Portable Install as the installation method.
Click Create
If you don't have a portable MT5 base for your broker yet, click Create to open the base creation dialog. (If you already have one, skip to step 5.)
Select Your Broker's MT5 Terminal
Pick from auto-detected terminals or browse manually to your broker's MT5 folder. Click Create Base. The source terminal must be closed.
Configure and Install
Select the broker server from the dropdown, enter login and trader password, configure lot sizing and pairs, click Install.
Managing Portable Installations
Two sections in the installer give you full control over portable installations and bases.
MT5 Base Management
Portable Installs → MT5 Base
View, create, and manage portable MT5 bases. Each base stores the server configuration for a specific broker and can be reused for multiple installations.
- View all created portable MT5 bases
- See which broker servers each base contains
- Create new bases from detected MT5 terminals
- Delete bases you no longer need
Active Installations
Installations
View all active portable installations — both Demo IB/Live IB and Full Version. Manage each instance independently.
- See running / stopped status for each installation
- Edit parameters — change lot size, risk, or pairs without reinstalling
- Start / Stop the portable MT5 terminal
- Uninstall a portable installation when no longer needed
| Step | Demo IB / Live IB | Full Version |

If you just installed MT5, you'll need to enter your broker's server, login, and password.

Click OK
Each instance gets its own dashboard, Cloud SET profile, and trade logic. EURUSD operates independently from XAUUSD.
